Design Squad Nation
In 2009, I was asked to lead a project that would engage the community around the Peabody-winning TV show, Design Squad Nation. The show's goal was to show kids how their dreams could be unlocked through engineering. Over the course of a few seasons, the brand had accumulated hundreds of videos, engineering profiles, activities, and games, but they were become a bit stale in their silos. We wanted a way to unlock the potential of those assets, and use them to empower kids to get involved in the engineering process themselves.
