Design Squad Nation is a social platform for tweens to collaborate on engineers projects together, and in turn learn the importance of the design process. The research process of this project was extremely rewarding for me and ultimately helped develop a more  valuable and rewarding experience for my users.

In the second gallery, you can see the paper prototypes I used to work through the features of the site with three 8th graders from a nearby school. Twice a week for 5 weeks, the students and I evaluated their digital habits, worked on DIY projects, and built websites out of paper.

The end product was an Emmy award-winning online platform where kids can collaborate, earn achievements, and learn about engineering and design.
